Piper is missed by his younger siblings, sisters Cat & Kie & bro Lucky, but by his calico soul mate Ember most of all. Piper got along with everyone, never found a human or animal he didn't like, & it was nothing to see a sibling cuddled up to him. Piper was the cat his sibs tolerated near them, but if he was there, there was often a cuddle pile. He was the glue that bonded the whole family. For me, he was my Punk, my Punk-kin Butt. His fluffy long fur bouncing as he walked, his meow of indignation if I didn't do as he wanted soon enough, his bright gren eyes that'd cross when you startled him, how he had to sleep on my chest for at least an hour every night, how he loved being carried around on my arms, & our favorite past time: see how hard he run his face across me nose... Even if he did usually end up sticking my nose in his eye or ear. Lol 8 years, he was a constant companion, trusted friend, a rally cry in your corner. He always knew when I was upset, and he'd be right there in minutes rubbing my face & trying to make me smile. I miss that, most of all. It is now late April 2023. You passed in Oct 2022, & I still cry as I write this, your passing still an open wound. I miss you my friend. Forever there will be a hole in my arms & heart.
