It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Piper "Punkie" Maine. Piper left this world on October 17, 2022, leaving behind cherished memories, heartfelt stories, and a legacy of kindness and love. Born in the year of 2014, Piper touched the lives of those who knew him, always ensuring that the people around him felt supported and loved.

Piper was a unique soul with a vibrant spirit, and he preferred to be known by his given name, Piper. He was known for his generosity and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. His memory will be carried on by those who knew and loved him, especially by his devoted mother, Twyla; his father, Tim; sisters KieAnn & Catron; brother Lucky; the host of foster cats that he "mothered": sisters Kitness, Dot, Swirl, Squirt, Sis, & Bell; brothers Q, Black, Jax, & Ghost; as well as maternal grandparents Ben & Dawn.

In honor of Piper's memory and the passion he had for animals, the family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Marion-Grant Co Humane Society. This organization is dedicated to providing love, care, and shelter for animals in need, and Piper's passion and devotion to this cause can be reflected in the support that is given to this valuable organization.
