Pierre's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Pierre "Pete" Taylor. He was born on November 7, 1970, and he sadly passed away on September 6, 2024.
Pierre is survived by his loving wife, Leah Taylor, whom he married in 1994. He is also survived by their son, Nicholas Taylor, who was born in the year 2000. His memory will be cherished by his brother, Robert Taylor III, his parents, Robert Taylor Jr. and Louise Taylor, and his sister, Lauren Taylor. His sister-in-law, Barbara Jackson and Felecia Milton, will also fondly remember Pierre. His sisters and brother-in-law, Danielle Taylor, Tammie Johnson, and Ted Kidd precede him in death.
Often described as intelligent, witty, dapper, thoughtful, passionate, frugal, and expressive, Pierre led a life of purpose. He believed in the principles of "reaping what sow," perseverance, speaking one’s truth, caring for family, and favoring quality over quantity.
Throughout his life, Pierre achieved many great accomplishments. His spiritual blessings and privileges were many. Serving as a ministerial servant, elder, presiding overseer, as well as the COBE was highly valued. He was privileged to serve on the LDC which allowed him the opportunity to participate in the building of Warwick at Bethel. He along with his family answered the call to learn French and assist in forming the French congregation in St. Louis. A lover of fine quality craftsmanship spurred him on to master the sartorial arts. His contributions were vast, and his impact profound.
Pierre leaves behind a legacy of lending a hand to those in need, continuously learning and developing new skills, and always impressing with his exceptional sense of style. His careful attention to detail, dedication to his community, and warm spirit will be dearly missed by a multitude of friends and family.
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a remarkable life that touched so many. Pierre "Pete" Taylor will not be forgotten.
