Phyllis C. Thompson, 72, of Lewisburg WV, passed away February 10, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. After a long but courageous battle with cancer, she is now reunited with her loving husband John, who preceded her in death in 1996. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mildred Stinson, as well as her grandson John W. Peterson of Columbus OH.

She is survived by her daughters, Dina L. Thompson of Monroe GA., and Deborah L. Peterson of Columbus OH; stepson David W. Peterson of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Alexa M. Roberts and Thomas K. Roberts, both of Lewisburg, Tara L. Thompson of Columbus OH, and Jessica H. Peterson of Lewisburg; a sister, Patricia Cole of Bellefontaine OH; two nephews, Jeff Sherick and Rick Sherrick; a niece JoDe Carter; six great-nephews; and two great-nieces

Phyllis was a loving woman who stopped at nothing to make sure her family was okay. Even cancer could not stop her from cooking for her family or hosting sleepovers for her grandchildren. Phyllis was loved by many and will be missed many.
