Phyllis is survived by her dedicated daughter, Lisa Alvarez, and her caring son-in-law, Reinaldo Alvarez. Her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted step-daughter Mary Elizabeth Greene. Phyllis also leaves behind her loving grandchildren Natasha Shoemaker, Alissa Alvarez, and Stephen Alvarez, whose lives were shaped by her wisdom, compassion, and enduring love.
Phyllis had a long and rewarding career, retiring from Graybar in 1987. Throughout her working life, she was known for her dedication, reliability, and inspirational leadership. Even after retirement, her life was richly filled with pursuits that fed her soul.
A woman of diverse tastes, Phyllis enjoyed various TV shows, including Law & Order and an array of nature shows. Her spirit of curiosity was evident in her fondness for puzzles.
