Phyllis Marie Watson, age 75, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away at her home after a long illness. She was born on March 14th 1944 in Sheridan Indiana to Charles and Margaret Watson. She was a long time resident of Daleville, Indiana. She lived an independent and defiant life.

Phyllis was a graduate of Daleville High School, Indiana Business College, and Ball State University. She went on to become a licensed real estate appraiser, a small business owner, and a community activist organizer for educational and environmental issues.

Phyllis is survived by her mother Margaret Watson; son Greg Blake and wife Brenda Blake; three grandchildren, Melissa Tharp and husband Aaron Tharp, Austin Blake, and Samuel Blake; cousin Evelyn Holt and husband Don Holt.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Charles Watson and ex-husband William Blake.
