Phyllis's obituary
On January 10, 1962, she was united in marriage to John R. Jeffers. The couple moved to New Jersey for John's employment where they lived for a few years, only to return to Illinois and raise their two daughters there in Mt. Prospect.
Phyllis had a hidden talent. She was a talented pianist who thoroughly enjoyed music, especially rhythm and blues. She had a love of fashion and a hearty laugh and great smile. She always wanted to go out for a milkshake.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor, father John, and brother, John. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Dennis) Lehuta of Bensenville.Il, and her daughter, Laura (Drew) Hake of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Fond Grandmother to Daniel and Sarah Lehuta and Quinn and Trey Hake. She is also survived by her brother, Frank, and nephews, Andre' and Frank Jr.
A private Catholic ceremony and burial will take place in Beloit , WI at Calvary Cemetery. The family was assisted by McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling IL.
