Phyllis Jean Bakos was born August 13, 1927 in West Concord, Minnesota to Irl Mertimer Hougas and Ella Mae Blair. She passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 94 In Liberty, Missouri. She married Gabriel Stephen Bakos on May 27, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Stephen on Febuary 28, 2004 and Great- Granddaughter Ash Chloe Lauseng on October 8, 2016. Survivors include three children Susan Kay Lauseng, Mary Ellen Sebesta (Joe) and Gabriel Michael Bakos. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cremation.  Burial at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery with her husband.
