Grammy didn't want a service, she and most of her siblings were very specific about that. We're spreading her ashes on Japatul Rd as per her wishes, on a property she loved to hunt on when she was a young girl.
We love you and miss you so much Grammy. We're going to honor all of your wishes, and we'll take good care of Lucy ❤️

Phyllis Kay Hanson passed away in her sleep from a short illness on September 27th 2025, approximately 45 minutes before her 75th birthday, surrounded by her family and loved ones, listening to her favorite music.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July 2025.

She was the most beloved wife of William A. Hanson, Mother of Brenda D. Barker and Jason Fordyce, all of which she loved so very much.
