Phyllis V. Elgin, formerly of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully in Safety Harbor, FL. on Sunday August 28th, 2022. She was 91. She was born to Glen and Martha Vought on Sept. 26th,1930, in Sayre, Pa., and the family relocated to Unadilla, NY, soon after, where she spent her formative years. She graduated High School in Unadilla in 1948. After briefly attending Elmira College, Phyllis transitioned to a Nursing Career. She attended Crouse Irving Hospital, …
