Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
Sometimes God sees a soul too sweet for this world and he takes it on home to be by his side. Phillip Whitley Johnson went home to be cared for by angels on May 1st, 2024.
Phillip was the son of Bruce Phillip Johnson II and Whitney Viers Hutchison, brother to Breanna Bush of Ashland, KY, grandson of Kim Settles (Robert) of Ashland, KY, Heidi Johnson (Chad Duncan) of Huntington, WV , Great- grandson of Toni Sawinski (Jeff) of Ashland, KY, Brenda Settles of Catlettsburg, KY, and Sharon Trout of Huntington, WV , Nephew to James Settles of Catlettsburg, KY , Ryan Settles of Ashland, KY, Brandon Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Mason Duncan, and Ethan Duncan, all of Huntington, WV. Also surviving is a host of extended family members and friends.
Phillip was already loved by so many, and he will live on through the love of his family until they are all reunited again.
A visitation for Phillip will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home from 12pm to 2pm.
