I'm so sorry for the loss of Phil. I'll always think of him whenever I remember the Christmas when he visited with us in Vero Beach, FL with his brother, Garrett and mother, Patti. I prepared a prime rib dinner with all the fixings, and I was so happy to see how much they ate and enjoyed their dinner. We had a lovely reunion with them. John and I were both heartbroken when we heard the details of him dying, so young. It brings to mind a plaque that my sister had that read, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." I guess that Phillip just had too many moments that took his breath away. I'm sure the angels up there in heaven will enjoy his music. We loved you dearly and remember that you were only a baby barely one month old when Uncle John and I got married.

Dear Hothan Family. My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Phillip again.

What an amazing, smart, and talented man. It took me awhile to write this, knowing I would be teary eyed in doing so. It was an absolute blessing to know you and work with you for so long. I want the family to know that Phil was dedicated to his work and was the most honest, humble, and passionate friend. Everyday was a great day when paired up with Phil. From our incredible music conversations, all the way down to sports, and just overall random hilarious conversations. You will be very missed my friend. I will never forget you. RIP big phil, we will meet again someday. Rock on brother. My condolences to all of you.
