To Uncle Phil's Family, I will grieve briefly, smile when I remember and not worry (too much). I know Uncle Phil and Dad (Bud) are golfing somewhere. Love you all, Phyllis
Dear Aunt Jean, Buddy, Cliff, Chris and all of your families, Roy and I sure did love Uncle Phil. He was just the kindest man. He always made us feel special and welcome. May the Peace of Christ be with you. Love, Roy and Lee Ann

It was my birthday and of course I was on call at the hospital. I had just arrived home feeling a little lonely when in thru the door walked my Dad and Uncle Phil singing Happy Birthday with my "cake", a HEB bought pound cake with a Shiner Bock beer in the middle with a single candle on top! They had driven up for the Texas Open. One of my best birthdays ever, I still have that bottle of Shiner Bock.
A great man. Miss both of them.
May cherished memories bring you moments of comfort. My most sincere condolences to the family.
