Phillip Barragan, 73,  passed away on October 17th, 2022 in Riverside, California.  He was born in Los Angeles, California on May 4th, 1949.

Phil is the oldest child of Phillip Castaneda Barragan and Stella Garces Barragan.  He was preceeded in death by his wife Mabel Ordonez-Barragan and father Phillip C Barragan and brother Timothy Barragan.  He is survived by his mother Stella Garces Barragan and siblings Virginia Barragan, Michael Barragan, Suzanne Barragan Alvarado, sister in law Laura Chavez (Timothy), children Brandon Barragan (Angela), Sean (Nancy McPherson) and Juliene Brown (Greg) and grandchildren Isabella Barragan, Garrett Brown, Gavin Brown, Felicity Barragan, Gunnar Barragan and great grandchild Cecilia Wren Griffith.

Phil served proudly in the United States Navy for 21 years.  He also retired from the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Agency. 

He enjoyed traveling the world and going on cruises.

Arlington Mortuary of Riverside, California is handling the services for the family. He will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
