Hy

So sad to ear that bad news. I am no more on triathlon activity but I remember Philippe and is family. My children played a lot at Embrun lack with the Lepetit children before the Embruman race.  Lepetit family, was apreciate on the tri91 team for there kindness and quietness.

RIP

I am profoundly shocked an saddened to hear about the passing of Philippe. :(  He was the definiton of a true gentleman! always very approachable and genereous in sharing his wealth of knowledge.   My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.

Anne-Claire

Rest in Peace Coach!

Mes sincères condoléances à toute votre famille.

Affectueusement

I am deeply saddened to learn of Philippe's passing. Having worked closely with him since December 2022, I had the privilege of knowing Philippe not only as an exceptional colleague but as a mentor, friend, and true gentleman.

Philippe was sincerely one of the finest engineers I have ever worked with. His wealth of knowledge and ability to recall specific details from years of experience at Thales was remarkable, but it was how he shared that wisdom that set him apart.

Philippe was my mentor as I assumed the role of solution architect - a significant career transition that he guided me through with patience and insight. He had no ego and allowed people to make their own choices, providing careful oversight and guidance when needed. He was thoughtful and considered in everything he said. He may not have spoken often, but when he did, his words carried profound significance.

What I will remember most was Philippe's gentle nature and generous heart. Our daily lunches together became treasured moments - sharing stories about our families and discovering his wonderfully dry sense of humour. He had a knack for lifting spirits, sharing chocolates and mochi from his desk drawer when things got tough - his way of putting a smile on the team and motivating us forward.

Philippe's dedication to fitness was inspiring. Watching him cycle incredible distances to work, then go for a run at lunch, embodied his disciplined approach to life. During a challenging time in my life, his advice to me was simple. "You need to get on that bike, Steven". His encouragement to join him on rides spoke to his understanding that sometimes physical fitness is the best approach to work through what ever we are facing. My deepest regret is not taking him up on those invitations.

Philippe's impact extends far beyond our professional collaboration. He was a mentor, friend, and example of how to approach both work and life with grace, wisdom, and quiet strength.

My deepest condolences to his family and all who knew him. Philippe's legacy lives on in the countless people he guided, supported, and inspired.

I was very shocked and sad to hear of the passing of Philippe. He was a very determined yet quiet achiever that was always there for advice and support.  Philippe was instrumental in guiding myself and my team through difficult challenges. He was a highly skilled engineer and a true gentleman.  My condolences to Philippe's family, friends and many colleagues all over the world.  He will always ride on in our memories... Rest in peace Philippe

To Philippe's Family, please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Philippe was not only a valued colleague, but also a dear friend who touched so many of us with kindness, dedication, and warmth. Their memory will live on in all the lives he impacted.  With Sympathy, RC
Condolences on the loss of Philippe, I worked with him for many years on various projects at Thales and have fond memories of sitting next to him during our time on CMATS and enjoying the various types of cheese and chocolate he produced from his drawer. A great loss!

I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Philippe’s passing. I always imagined him riding, running and swimming until the end of time. He was always such a kind, encouraging, gentle person who I so enjoyed spending time with. My favourite memories are from the summer Mark and I spent driving around France with Philippe following the tour, and when he literally was by my side for my first marathon. He was always happy to support you with any big, audacious goal.

My heart goes out to his family in what must be such a difficult time.

I was so saddened when I heard the news of Philippe's passing. I'm so sorry for the loss of Philippe. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

May, in heaven, Philippe Rest in Peace.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Philippe’s passing. It is so hard to accept that he is gone. Over the past 25 years, I was fortunate to work with him on many projects. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and skilled, but also kind, caring, and always ready to support those around him. I will always remember his generosity and friendship, and I will miss him very much. Please accept my heartfelt condolences — my thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Famille Dutrieux

Sincere condolences to Philippe’s family.

It’s deeply saddening to hear of his passing, he will be remembered as a quiet, kind and supportive man.

My thoughts are with his family

Regards

Nikki
