Philippe died peacefully on his mom’s lap on March 31st, 2011 at Plainfield Animal Care Center.

Philippe came into our family on December 18, 2011 as a tiny ball of black fuzz with all the naturally boundless energy of a puppy only to crash a few hours later on mommy's lap. Some of Philippe’s favorite things were his mommy, his daddy, family, cookies, going for walks, peeing on every blade of grass and playing. One of Philippe’s primary activities as a puppy was chewing on Barbies and My Little Ponies that he found strewn about the house resulting in the permanent injury of several and the happy result of my kids putting their toys away. Philippe also delighted in eating crayons making for a colorful array of little piles throughout the backyard.

Grandma gifted Philippe with an adorable green and black dog bed which he promptly converted into the blowup sex doll that he must have always fantasized of, the bed took such a beating it had to be transferred to the basement. Philippe and daddy often enjoyed a good game of ball, Philippe trained his daddy quite quickly at fetching his ball for him-he was so smart!

As Philippe matured he spent many contented hours hours on the couch leaning on mommy and getting a little tummy rub, snuggled in the back of daddy’s knees or keeping the children company as they blazed through hours of tv and gaming. Philippe will be missed by many, but none so much as his Mommy who didn’t even know that on December 18, 2011 this tiny bundle of puppy with noodly, black frizzy hair would move into her heart so completely. Until we meet again my darling good boy.
