Buzzy, as many of us called him, was a classmate from 1st grade in Rutland through high school from 1951 to graduation in 1963. I later met Joan while I was working full time in downtown Worcester in the 1990's -- we worked for two different state agencies in the same building. We then met at our mini high school reunions held at Val's Restaurant in Holden where we enjoyed many stories from Phil and lots of laughs! My condolences to his family -- he will be missed by many.

So sorry Joanie and family, Jim and I will always remember the good times. He was always so kind, and loved everyone

Buzz and I ref’d the Flag & Parks football league since 2001. He was a great friend, well respected by everyone, he was funny and at times a jokester, he will sorely be missed.
Joan and family,

My deepest sympathy. My thought and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Marilyn Tesell
Kristin, Lee and family,
So many good memories. Burkett, Stark Rd., Bailey field, West Tatnuck. Not sure I would be were I am in the softball world without Mr. Z in those younger years. I got into trouble in high school and lost my path in Athletics but that initial love for the game developed by my younger years no doubt is what led me back. My thoughts are with you all.

Im so sorry for your loss. Having recently lost my dad I know the immense pain and sadness when losing a dad like Buzzy. He was one of my favorite people. There's not a memory that doesn't have buzz in it growing up. Playing softball, cookouts, pitching clinic, etc... I have many memories enjoying life with all of you like you were family. I know my dad was there waiting for him. Love you all

Sending lots of Prayers and Love to all. My deepest condolences to your family...
