We will always remember Phil's calm presence... and smiling face.  The Vineyard memories are the best and we treasure all the amazing Burke-Blanc family stories and shared experiences.   Our hearts are with you.

My condolences to  Mr.Young's family. I first met him in 2021 when I started working at Daylight /Twilight High School and we shared the classroom for teaching. My heart is full writing this. Mr.Young was my mentor. I would always stop by to take his suggestion at the workplace. He was the only person I was close to in the entire building. I looked up to him for advice all the time in both my professional and personal life. His smile and positive energy were contagious. He always called me a friend. He told me that I was the same age as his daughter. He talked about his daughter and grandchildren all the time. He gave tips for a happy marriage. He was a lifetime learner. He always helped me without any expectations. I always stop by his room in the morning to say good morning and check on him. I always made fun telling him "Hey mentor mark me present for the day ".  I lost my mentor. I was heartbroken when I heard this news. May god give strength to the entire family. He made a difference among thousands of students during his teaching career. I am one of those students. He taught me so many things. He was an amazing teacher. The workplace is not the same without him and never will be. My amazing mentor and friend rest in peace.

I am a close friend of Emma. She is such a beautiful person inside and out & though I never met Phil I feel like I know him through Emma and the amazing person she is, she lives by actions not words in all that she does and she leads by example. I am so sorry for the loss of an amazing man, father, friend & teacher to so many. He will always live on through his family and friends. You are all so blessed to have had Phil in your lives. Rest in peace good kind and generous man. All love,
