Philip's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Philip H. Mink. Born on December 17, 1943, Philip passed away on September 29, 2024 with his family by his side. Philip leaves behind an impressive legacy filled with love, devotion, and kindness. Known for his caring nature, endless sense of humor, and a heart that was always open, Philip's departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.
Predeceased by his wife, Pamela J. Mink, and his son, Bryon Nichols, Philip's memory is carried forward by his loving children, Cindy Peel, Gary Mink, Tammy Babington, Michael Mink, Clint Nichols, Chad Mink, Glen Nichols, Brian Mink, and Jeff Mink.
Philip's kindness and generosity were not confined to his family alone. As a prominent member of his community, he ran a successful transmission repair business in downtown Mesa for over four decades. His professional accomplishments, however, paled in comparison to the joy and pride he took in his family - his ten children, twenty grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren were his greatest achievements.
Philip was a devoted husband and father, a beloved grandfather, a loyal friend, and a respected business owner. His warm personality and his kind-hearted nature touched everyone he met. His loss is profound, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind.
Services will be held at Meldrum Mortuary in Mesa, AZ on October 9th. Visitation will begin at 9am followed by services at 10am.
