My dad has been gone almost a year. We never made an obituary but I’m hoping by creating this it’ll help with some healing that we all need to go through. My dad was extraordinary and sometimes was louder than life. He loved deeply and most days would offer the shirt off his back. We miss him dearly. His grandkids miss his love, his affection and most importantly how they made him feel. He truly was made to be a Poppy. I cry daily on how much I miss him. Sometimes just knowing he was here gave me a sense of ease . Almost year later and I have to remind myself he’s not here. No more late night coffees or my favorite dish eggplant parm but more importantly no more I love yous from him. I miss you Dad. We miss you dad. Keep showing up for the kids.
