My deepest condolences to Phil's friends and family - and a nod to the celebration of his eclectic life as well! Phil and I became friends decades ago in Ottumwa.  We shared the "percussionists" spirit.  While we hadn't kept in touch, I am certainly appreciative of his presence in my life.
