Philip Royal Daye age 53, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday March 29,2021 at UVA hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was born in June 15,1967 in Roxboro, NC. He was the second oldest of five children born to Jacob F. Daye and Mary Ann Wiley Daye who currently resides in Roxboro,NC. Philip served four years in the United States Marine Corps right after high school. He was baptized at the age of 6 and and joined Faith Temple Holy church. Philip loves to play basketball and was a great cook. You could always find him bopping his head to music with the volume turned up while around the house and especially while driving. He had a niche for cleaning and he was always well groomed and very particular about his clothes and shoes. He loved to laugh and joke around with everyone he encountered. He was a very loving dad to his two daughters and a wonderful husband.
