My condolences to your family. Coach was an inspiration to my daughter, Natalie Scott during her high school years. Thank you for all you did, many blessings to your family! RIP! 💕 Scott Family

Coach Longboard was a champion for River Ridge Track and Field taking so many athletes to state competition, including the 4 Coats’ kids!  Thanks Coach for all you did to support our family and the students at RRHS. Rest in Peace.

I have a ton of stories!  But something I always loved, was getting the all RR email, when he was trying to get volunteers for a track meet.  He always promised us it would be sunny and 75 degrees :)  In 11 years, I don't think it ever actually WAS that, but it also was always fun to help out.
My condolences to Phil's family. I was Blessed to have Phil's sister Candy as a Best Friend throughout many years. Phil-"P" as we called him was like another brother to me. Mama Irene and Dad "E" always welcomed me in their home. Phil's entire family we're amazing, loving people. Candy and I loved giving "P"  C--P but he would smile, laugh , He knew that was my way of letting him know I Loved him and indeed he was accepted as a "baby brother". Phil lead a remarkable life and touched so many hearts. I know "P" will always hold a special spot in my heart. Until we see you again Phil, rest in GOD's arms and know this sister from "A Udder Modder Loves you! xoxoxoxo
Phil was such an inspiration and role model for my brother, Jason Cromwell, who passed tragically in 1992. He was monumental in motivating my brother to excel in track and to set the bar high. I’m sorry for your loss as a family of such a wonderful human.
In the 5th grade I came to your class mid year as a new kid.  I didn’t know anyone and I was pretty miserable. But that was one of my most memorable years because of you. You made me feel like I belonged in your class like I was supposed to be there.  I have never forgotten that.  Thank you and I am truly sorry you’re gone.  You will be missed everyday.
