Peter Blaine Wiley, of Hingham, passed away peacefully in the early hours of January 13th after an extended and brave fight against cancer. Born November 24th, 1963, Peter was the youngest of John Blaine and Joan Wiley’s three children. Peter was born and raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, and graduated from St. John’s Jesuit High School. He continued his education at the University of Notre Dame, where he acquired his Bachelor’s degree, as well as the Ohio State University and Boston College, from each of which he received a Master’s degree. Peter married Nancy Falcone on May 5th, 1990. Together they raised three children, Devon, Ben, and Blaine. Peter was a devoted husband, a loving son, and an incredible father. His compassion, decency, patience, and warmth will be remembered by all. Peter adored sailing his boat Audacious, brewing beer and distilling spirits, reading across all subjects, and spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his father, John Blaine Wiley, his brother, Christopher Wiley, his sister, Kathy Wiley McElroy, his wife, Nancy, and his three children, Devon, Ben, and Blaine.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 5th at St. John the Evangelist in Hingham at 11:00 am.
