Peter Sigurd Wiegmann, age 43, passed peacefully on April 9, 2022 surrounded by family. He is survived by his parents Audrey and Thomas Wiegmann, sister Kirstin Wiegmann, girlfriend Jocelyn Páez and the fuzzy loves of his life, his cats Captain Funnytail and Hank. Peter graduated from Rockhurst University with a degree in Political Science . 

Peter was a deeply sensitive, hilarious, creative and vibrant person who loved big ideas and challenging conversations. He was fearless in his rebellion against the ordinary and incredibly courageous in sharing his perceptions in life. Whether it swimming in the ocean or sitting in the garden, he was happiest when immersed in the natural world.
