My deepest condolences!!

I always think back on those days together with the Tilden’s And Willis’s.

He was my best man and a great friend that I wish I never had lost touch with!!

Pa was a light to his family and I’m grateful to experience his brightness firsthand. He always had a joke to be told and a smile to be shared. I wish I could’ve heard more of his stories because the ones I was lucky enough to hear were amazing enough to leave my jaw on the floor. He lived such a life full of bravery, travel, service and selflessness. I’m so lucky to have been accepted into his family and welcomed as his own granddaughter. He created the most beautiful and warm family and it definitely reflects his loving nature. We all miss you so much and the feeling of your absence affects us all. 

Was sad to hear about his demise. We hunted together as well as enjoying archery tournaments.  We met in 1983 at Davis Monthan AFB. We've been best friends ever since. Will miss him greatly.  Rest in peace my friend.

I met Pete through his son Shawn. The time we spent together was him reminiscing on his time in the military and serving our country. I absolutely loved his stories and am proud that I got to spent some time with him. He will truly be missed.

My condolences to Pete's family and friends, especially my forever school friend, Paula Tilden Carnes.
