It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Peter Nothdurft. Born on October 20, 1919, Peter passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024. He lived a full and meaningful life, reaching 104 years of age.

Peter loved to unwind with a game of golf, fishing, or playing pool with his friends. He also had an appreciation for fine martinis and was known as a great dancer. Peter enjoyed his time growing up with his brothers and time spent with his nieces and their extended families.

He is survived by his loving son, James Nothdurft, his caring daughter, Karen Nothdurft, seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Peter was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, always taking the time to share his wisdom and sense of humor with his loved ones. His family was at the heart of everything he did. Peter was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene Nothdurft. 

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Peter's life will be held on October 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Ridgewood Memorial Park. We anticipate a gathering of friends and family, reminiscing about the good times shared with Peter, and honoring his memory. Additionally, a celebration of life will follow at 12:00 PM at the White Eagle Events & Convention Center. All who knew and loved Peter are welcome to join but we ask that you please RSVP.

Peter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His spirit, wisdom, and warmth will continue to inspire and guide us. In the meantime, we take comfort in the knowledge that his love lives on in his family and the many lives he touched.
