Peter "Papa" Modzelewski, 75, of Santee, CA passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Peter grew up in St. Clair Shores Michigan.  After working construction for several years he worked at California Bank & Trust for 15 years.  He enjoyed being a softball coach/manager for his daughters for 14 years.  He loved building things and could fix anything!  He was know as "Mr. Fix It".   Peter will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Peter was predeceased by his mother Virginia and father Stanley.  He was also predeceased by his two younger brothers Julian and Edward.  He is survived by his wife Deborah, his daughter Melissa Modzelewski, his daughter Michelle Abrams (Modzelewski), his sister Joan Rucker (Modzelewski) his grandson Cody Von Rosenburg and his granddaughters Camryn and Paige Modzelewski.  Peter requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Peter’s loved ones to join us in celebrating their beautiful life see sometime in early May.
