Dear Aunt Marge, Michele, Debbie & Ian, so sorry for the loss of your dear sweet husband and father and my dear uncle and Godfather. What a special man he was- kind, gentle and very generous. Marge, Michelle, Debbie and Ian, I was saddened to hear of Pete’s death. Although anticipated to some extent, the reality at hand must be very upsetting if not devastating for you individually and as a family together.

My thoughts are with you all as you try and come to grips with Pete’s absence in your daily lives and as you try to understand what this means for your life in the months and years to come.

I regret not being able to be there just to give you a big hug but take comfort in knowing that you will all be there for each other.
