Thinking of my Uncle Pete today. He was such a kind, calm, gentle man. He is missed by many.Β
Our deepest condolences to Marge, and the whole family! Pete and Marge for us are not friends, but family to us! We have sooo many happy beautiful memories, from playing golf, bocci, cards at each others house, to social events, ice cream etc.ect. One that comes to mind is Homasa Springs, and the Italian festival. But most of all being friends. I think Pat regarded him as a brother. Β Pete had such a quiet and peaceful Christian demeanor! He will be greatly missed! May God Hold you in the Palm of His Hand. Our Love to all of you! Pat and Ada πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’•πŸ’•

Pete sharing his building skills and knowledge with his son in-law, Ian. I'd like to say he was the brains and I was the brawn, but at age 68 Pete could still hammer a nail in with 3 blows and lift more than me!

Growing up Pete was a very positive influence in my life. Always there to advise and help. Our hearts break for Marge and family. We will miss him deeply and will be in our prayers.Β

Joe and I send our love and sincere sympathy to Marge and her family on the loss of Pete.Β  He fought a courageous battle for a long time.

Pete and Marge were one of the first neighbors we met after moving into the neighborhood.Β  Many a day we would see Pete in his white long-sleeve shirt and wide-brimmed hat making sure his lawn, shrubs, etc., were pristine.Β Β He's probably giving St. Peter instructions on the best way to care for the grass, shrubs and flowers in Heaven!

NO TEARS PAST THE GATE Peter has entered our eternal home above the gate opened to enter the one we loved. Β We will be with you again one day.

Rest In Peace.

Deborah and I shared one delightful evening (Ian Cox 60th birthday party) and enjoyed every minute. Thanks Pete for touching our lives and parenting a wonderful daughter.

Pete was my friend both at work at True Temper and by introducing me to Trudy, my wife of 29 happy years. He was my best man for our wedding.Β  He carried out my plans as foreman at TT and made me look like I knew what I was doing. He and Marge made excellent social company during many years.Β  It' s hard to look at all the pictures of Pete and knowing that we will not see each other again here on earth. But I hope he saves me a place up there where we can exchange memories again. Rest in Peace, Pete!Β

Marge, Michele, Deb and Ian:

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Pete was a strong, hardworking man with a gentle soul and a smile that lit up a room. I will always remember him fondly and Denise and I were honored to have had you and Pete in our life as β€œextended family” members. I’ve included a few photos of times we were together that meant a lot to us. Your visit to see us after we moved to Flagstaff. Our trip to the Grand Canyon, and you both being a part of my 60th birthday celebration in Rochester. Each time was filled with love and laughter and created memories to last a lifetime.

One very special memory I will always cherish was when, even though he was struggling with his own health at the time, Pete made a special effort to console Denise via the phone and reminded her of the power of Hope. Pete made her smile at a time when joy was in short supply and she carried Pete’s message with her every day until she passed.Β  That act was a measure of the man Pete was.Β  I will always be eternally grateful for his words to both of us on that day.

May your memories of Pete, the life you built and shared together and the wonderful family you created bring give you peace and comfort now and in days to come.

And please remember that you are not alone. I know you are surrounded by loving family and friends.Β  I too am here for you now and always, as you and Pete were here for me and Denise. Please let me know if I can help in any way at any time.Β Β

My brother Peter was always kind, gentle and honorable. Β We will miss him forever. Β It’s taking me a while to process that he is gone. Β I will give a donation to the Pluto Cancer Center who gave such good care to Lynn. Β My prayers to Marge and the family. Β Love always, Pat

Deepest condolences to the family. We met Pete and Marge only a few times. We especially recall Pete at a Thanksgiving get-together at Ian and Michele's. We were new in town and found him welcoming and easy to talk to, with an engaging smile.Β  Rick & Kim Potvin
Our friendship began over a bocce game! Β Such warm memories of games played followed by time at the pool bar! Β We feel privileged to have known Pete and his spirit of fun, love and kindness. Β We send our condolences to Marge and the family. Β God bless. Β George and EvelynΒ

Dear Marge and girls,

Dear Marge and family,
Pat and I want to send our sincere condolences to you on the death of Pete. He was a wonderful man and always would come up to us at the family reunions to see how we were doing and converse at length.
Sincerely,
Donna Conway
Unfortunately I don’t have a picture but I have so many wonderful memories of uncle Pete. He was so loving and caring towards me. A fond memory of him was when aunt Marge threw a surprise 50th party for uncle Pete and I helped get him to the party. He was such a special man. I love you all.
