PJ's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter "PJ" Fernandez. Born on September 28th, 1970, this remarkable man left us all too soon on August 9th, 2025. His memory is carried on by his loving spouse, Susanna Fernandez, their son, Peter Fernandez, and their daughter, Perla Fernandez.
PJ was a man of diverse tastes and interests. He was an avid reader with a deep affection for the classic novel "Animal Farm". A lover of music, he enjoyed the exhilarating sounds of The Killers, The Strokes, and Arctic Monkeys. PJ's favorite TV shows were a reflection of his broader tastes, ranging from the challenging drama of NCIS and Law & Order: SVU to the comedic relief of Bob's Burgers. His love for humor extended to his favorite movies as well, and he always had a good laugh watching "The Hot Chick" and the "Scary Movie" series. A staunch supporter of LA sports, PJ's favorite team was The Los Angeles Dodgers and he'd always cheer them on with utmost enthusiasm.
PJ's favorite vacation spots were Cancun and Las Vegas, places he considered perfect for rejuvenation and excitement. He was a man of a multifaceted personality. While one could perceive him as serious and sarcastic at first, he was actually bubbly and hilarious once you got to know him, making friends everywhere he went. Among the many life lessons he left behind, the one that will always bring a smile to our faces is "Never eat Mentos and drink Coke", a testament to his humor and zest for life.
PJ's absence leaves a void in our lives, but his spirit and memories remain eternal. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he led, cherishing the joy and laughter he brought to everyone he met. His legacy of love, laughter, and wisdom will live on in our hearts forever.
