It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Dickey, born on September 13, 1951, and departed from this life on July 8, 2023. Peter was a remarkable man, known for his intelligence, quick wit, and passion in all that he pursued.

Peter hailed from Wisconsin and was a proud alumnus of Marquette University on West Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, WI where he graduated with a J.D in Law in 1975. He was an avid fan of his home state's sports teams, including the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers. His love for these teams was unparalleled and talking about their victories and losses brought a twinkle to his eyes.

Family and friends could always count on a spirited game of Peter's favorites, which included Cribbage, Canasta, and Euchre. As competitive as he was, he played every game with a sense of joy that was infectious. His love for games was only surpassed by his love for the Great Outdoors. Peter was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his favorite time was spent teaching his grandchildren the ropes and sharing his outdoor wisdom.

Known for his intelligence, Peter was a wellspring of sage advice and guidance. The best lesson he imparted on those he left behind was to 'Never give up on your dreams.' His unwavering optimism and faith in the human spirit were sources of inspiration for everyone privileged enough to know him.

Peter Dickey's legacy is one of giving back. He advocated for the underserved, used his legal skills to bring about justice, and gave of his time and resources generously. Peter lived a full life, marked by an extraordinary blend of professional achievement, personal fulfillment, and purposeful contribution to the community.

Today, we remember Peter, not just for the many roles he played – a beloved family member, a loyal friend, an accomplished professional – but for his indomitable spirit that left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
