Peter Cameron, 84, of Haymarket, VA, passed away on August 19, 2022.

Peter was born on November 4th, 1937  to Alice and William in NYC. He met his wife Dolores in his senior year at Mount St. Michael High School. After graduating from Mount St. Michael High School, he went on to study Business at Fordham University. In his junior year of college, he and Dolores wed, going on to have 2 children, Marji and Peter. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Marji, Peter, and Dolores and always tried his best to support them.


Peter was also passionate about his New York Yankees, his New York Giants, and history - he was full of facts.


Anyone who knew Peter knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Peter was predeceased by his daughter Marji. He is survived by his wife Dolores, his son Peter, his daughter in-law Holly, his sister Jeanette and his 4 wonderful grandchildren.  There will be a celebration of life on August 23rd from 6-8pm at Murphy Funeral Homes in Arlington, Virginia.
