My condolences to Peter's family. I first met Peter when I was in the midst of a deep, dark depression. Pete just showed up on my doorstep one day when i was ready to quit and showed me the light amongst the darkness. He gave me hope when i had none. He gave me strength when i was my weakest. He redirected the trajectory of my life and i wish i could have seen him one more time. i’ve carried his business card with me since the day Ive met him as a reminder to never give up and always look for the light in the dark. I love you Pete and I’ll never forget you.

I wish I had the right words to say right now. I suppose we knew this day would come but it never actually felt real. They say it gets easier but it doesn't. Any kind of loss is heavy. Sending love to the family as you all navigate the stages of grief. I wish I had the perfect medicine to heal what feels broken but Jehovah knows. (Psalm 34:18; Psalm 147:3) Pete was like a father to me and we've made so many good memories over the last 20 years. Family game nights, camping trips, Watchtower family nights, service, conventions, backyard parties, etc will forever go down as some of my favorite memories. His memory will forever be in my thoughts when I find that rare Morel mushroom, when I go kayaking, when I have a wood-fired pizza. I'll make sure to teach my little nieces and nephews all about the birds and how Jehovah perfectly designed each one and how to make Mom's famous cupcakes he used to love. Looking forward to seeing him in the new world very soon! Sending love and prayers
