Perry "Van" Jarman, 47, of Newport, NC passed away at home on April 13, 2023 after a [He was surrounded by his family. 

Van was predeceased by his mother, Vickie Lee Fender Jarman, his grandparents Warren G and Ethelene Jarman. Van  is survived by his father, Andy Warren Jarman and Linda Jarman, his sisters,  Patricia “Patty” VanLue, Kimberly Crocker (Mike) and his brothers, Brian Medlock, Robert Jarman and Casey Jarman and his son, Warren Earl Jarman in addition to many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.  After Van graduated Swansboro High School, he went on to getting his CDL and was a heavy equipment hauler at Sunland in Newport, NC for the past sixteen years. Van loved astronomy and spent most of his evenings stargazing; he loved his cars and always was ready to make you laugh.  His family and loved ones will always be left with a hole in their hosts at his unexpected death.
