Perry's obituary
Perry Robert Borbeck was born on Apr 26, 1956, in Rantolle, Illinois on Chanute Air Force Base. His parents were big fans of Perry Como, and that’s how he got his name. Perry was always involved in music and was an award-winning clarinet player. Perry was an athlete at Leigh High School, on the track, cross-country, and football teams. He worked at General Electric, was a machinist for a long time at various companies, and worked at the Waste Water Treatment Plant as a Plant Operator III for the Union Sanitary District. Perry loved working with his hands, both in his work and in a variety of home projects. He loved the beach, everything about it, and his home was filled with nautical themes.
Perry was preceded into death by his mother Mary (Stetson) Hagel, brother Mark, and his pets Scooter and Chico. He leaves behind his beloved wife Christine (Bernal) Borbeck, father Robert, brother Bryan, and sister Christina Ryder. He was co-daddy to Frank, Nathan, and Joseph Vasquez, papa to Dante and Jaden, and loved having dogs in his home, including his adored little Chiquita, and his tolerated Dulce. Perry passed away on Feb 16, 2022, in Modesto, California.
