Perry Bert Boomershine, age 74, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). He was born on July 16, 1951, to the late Virgil Leo and Violet (Roberts) Boomershine and was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Jeanne Boomershine.

Perry is survived by his wife Dorothy (Woolf/Davis) Boomershine with whom he shared 38 years of life; daughter and son-in-law, Amber (Davis) and Alex Cristofaro; grandsons, Nathan and Owen Cristofaro; and son from a previous marriage, Chad Boomershine, along with grandchildren Katelyn, Braxtyn, and Blake Boomershine. He is also survived by his brothers, Tedd (Kathy) Boomershine and Rex (Connie) Boomershine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Celebrating 30 years of sobriety, Perry embraced a more spiritual, abundant, and joy-filled life. Perry lived a life full of laughter, love, and adventure. He never turned down a sweet or a chance to have fun.

Perry was known for being the life of the party and when it came to people always felt the more the merrier. He filled every room with laughter and stories. He loved motorcycles, fishing, animals, watching races, and feeding the birds and squirrels that gathered at his home. Most of all, Perry loved people; collecting friends from his school days, through his work, and everywhere he went. He truly never met a stranger.

Perry graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1969. Over the years, he worked as an electrician, in construction and remodeling, maintenance in nursing homes, as a realtor, and as an exterminator. He was the proud owner of Ideal Exterminating for the last 32 years.

Perry requested no formal memorial or services, asking instead that family and friends “have themselves a good party” and enjoy life as he did. Though he will be deeply missed, Perry’s joy, humor, and unforgettable stories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
