In Loving Memory of Precieuse Icart

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, & great-great-grandmother, Precieuse Icart who departed this world on 10/27/2023 at the age of 87. She left us peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, and has now found eternal rest.

Precieuse Icart was a woman of God, exceptional grace, warmth, and kindness. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her, leaving an indelible mark that will continue to inspire and uplift us. Born on 02/10/1936, Precieuse Icart grew up in Miragoâne Haiti and was the daughter of Resulis Icart and Oremis Joach. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was at the center of her life, and she took immense joy in nurturing and caring for each generation.

As a matriarch, Precieuse Icart was a source of wisdom and guidance. She shared her experiences and life lessons generously, leaving a legacy of resilience, patience, and love. Her heart was a haven of warmth and comfort, she was the home we needed to create and cherish memories her faith was unwavering, and she found solace in her spirituality, which guided her through life's challenges. Precieuse Icart was a pillar of strength for her family and an inspiration to all who witnessed her unwavering devotion.

Precieuse Icart is survived by her children Jacqueline Noel, Yvette Icart Guetchy, Leon Icart, Son in law Pierre Guetchy , Jean Yves Denis Noel and Daughter in law Solange Icart.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandchildren, Yasmine Noel McNear, Lorie Noel Edwards, Diens Noel, Jenny Noel, Sara Noel, Tiana Icart, Bayinna Icart, Sabine Moise, Johnny Moise, Ridge Icart, Ridge Stanley Icart, Mildwinge Icart and Ney Icart. Great-grandchildren, Christina Saintil, Leila Mcnear, Jessica Edwards, Anthony Jean Edwards (AJ), James Lawrence Denis Noel, Chyanne Springer, Chloe Brown, Marc Idame, and her Great- Great-Granddaughter Celine Mercedes Brown.

A celebration of Precieuse Icart’s life will take place on 11/11/2023 at Hope International Ministries. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing stories of her remarkable life. Precieuse Icart will be remembered not for the tears we shed today, but for the love, wisdom, and warmth she brought into our lives. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched, and her spirit will forever be a guiding light for us all.

Rest in peace, dear Precieuse Icart. You will always remain in our hearts, a cherished and enduring presence, guiding us through the journey of life.
