In Loving Memory of Prudence Mons

May 18, 1959 – February 15, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Prudence Mons. Born in Barrington, Rhode Island on May 18, 1959, Prudence enriched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit. After a courageous 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s, she peacefully left us on February 15, 2025.

Prudence lived a life filled with warmth, generosity, and a deep commitment to those she loved. Known for her joyful nature, dedication to family, and inspirational resilience, she touched countless lives with her indomitable spirit.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Mons; her four children, Jennifer Anderson, Robert Mons III, Alexander Mons, and William Mons; and her five cherished grandchildren, Amelia Mons, Addison Anderson, Alaric Mons, Everly Anderson, and Olivia Anderson.

A celebration of Prudence’s life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join us for a reception at The Lodge & Club, where we will come together to share memories and honor her legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penny’s Promise Foundation in honor of Prudence’s memory with whom we called "Penny".

Though Prudence is no longer with us, her legacy of love, courage, and compassion will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, Prudence Mons—you will always be remembered.
