Penny's obituary

Penny Lucile Lampmann, 65, of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 25, 2018 at 7:17 pm in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

A celebration of Penny’s life will be held at 10:00 am December 28 at The Crittenden Hotel in Coudersport, PA.

Penny was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to Mary Drake and Billie Eugene Simkins on August 9, 1953. She went to school in Galeton Area School District. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Arthur Froehlich who she married on July 8, 1971 in Galeton, Pennsylvania and Shawn Lampmann who she married July 21, 2007. She attended courses at Montgomery County Community College where she majored in Psychology. She worked as a machine operator/trainer for Ford Motor Company for more than 20 years. Throughout her life she was involved in various activities including kayaking, racquetball, bingo, fishing, and playing slot machines.

Penny is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Billie Eugene.

Penny is survived by her son Frederick A Froehlich II and his wife Julie Froehlich, her daughter Michelle Marie Chastain and her husband Patrick Chastain, and her daughter Nicole Wilson and her husband Lance Wilson, her brothers Michael Simkins, Thomas Simkins, and Ivan Simkins, her sisters Susan Detweiler and Patty Sewell, her grandchildren Juan, Austin, Corina, Xavier, Dylan, Leah, Marrio, Frederick III, Sophia, Danielle, Canaan, and great grandchild Lola.

Memorials contributions may be made to her family in memory of Penny Lampmann.
