It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my Grandmother, Penny Dick. My Grandmother or Nanny as I called her, was a woman who devoted her life to helping others. She was a flight nurse for over 25 years at UTMB and Memorial Hermann Lifeflight and was a canine search and rescue handler for many years with several of her dogs, including her beloved Uta. She devoted herself to doing the right thing even if not the easiest path because that is what she believed in. I will miss her greatly and will do my best every day to be at least half the person and nurse she was.
