Peggy "Grandma PJ" VanHorn, born on May 10, 1932, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023. Known affectionately as Grandma PJ to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her strong will and straight-shooting nature will always be remembered.

Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, George VanHorn, and their dearly missed son, Ricky Becker. She leaves behind an indelible legacy, forming the solid roots of the Becker family tree, with her surviving children Sherry Miles, Brenda Bivens, Randy Becker, and Debbie Mullaney. Peggy's descendants, including numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that are too many to count, will continue to honor her memory through their love and respect for one another, just as she had always envisioned.

Peggy savored the simple things in life. She indulged in the crunchy, savory goodness of tacos and was comforted by the warm, aromatic embrace of a cup of coffee. She was an avid reader of western novels, losing herself in the tales of cowboy heroics and frontier spirit.

Despite her love for books, Peggy's favorite pastime was none other than spending precious moments with her children and grandchildren. Her family-oriented nature resulted in a home filled with laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Peggy’s legacy will forever remain in the heart of the Becker family tree, her resilience, and unwavering spirit echoing through generations. Her departure is deeply mourned, and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends who were privileged to know her.
