Fond memories of Peggy-she always put a smile on everyone's face!

Rick Smith

Marhalee "Leigh" and Family,

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. I will hold the memories of your mother Mrs. Peggy we shared together so close to my heart. I met Mrs. Peggy at the Stepping Stones For Women's Center she worked along with her daughter Leigh and Mrs. Peggy always had a beautiful smile on her face and me and Mrs. Peggy always had a great conversation so pleasant. Leigh, I am thinking of you and your family and sending caring thoughts your way to support you through this. Your mother Mrs. Peggy truly will be missed and me not seeing her at Stepping Stones for Women's Center.

Peggy bouyed me when I was down,  lifted me with her smile and hugs, lit my path with light from sparkling eyes, and the joy of her laughter rings in my ears and resides in my heart. What an exceptional spirit she is to us all. May we emulate her in our LIVES and LOVE through eternity. Rest in Peace Sister in Christ. Ministry Well Served!

It saddened me to hear of the passing of this dear soul. I met Peggy at Stepping Stones Women's Center, where she and her daughter so graciously served women throughout Richmond and vicinity. May Peggy rest in Eternal Peace.

With Peace, Love & Blessings,

Rev. Glorietta Jones

Peggy always had a smile on her beautiful face and a kind word for all. She was one in a million. She is now with our Heavenly Father and no doubt spreading her love and kindness into eternity.
Peggy was the "best friend" anyone could ever have.  She was my chauffeur, my "bartender," the person I could confide in and tell her about my sins without her passing judgement.  She was sunshine and butterflies to everyone she met.  I will miss her contagious laugh and her abundant hugs.  Only knowing that Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and that she is resting in peace, can I make myself content with the loss she has become to our family.

I never saw Peggy without a beautiful smile on her face!  She was a very special person.  Her personality was sunshine and could light up your day.   Andy, I am so sorry for your loss.
How I miss Peggy’s beautiful smile, enveloping hug, and her “Hello Darlin”.  She made me feel special, as I am sure she did everyone else whose lives she touched. She was a pillar of St. Paul’s UMC and everyone in our church is heartbroken.  🙏🏻💔

Peggy was an amazing, extremely positive great example to us all. Always giving, always trying to help others, powerful hugger, full of abundant laughter, and a joy to be around. We miss you so much, Peggy!
She was an outstanding person, always smiling and made people happy to be with her. She was a delight in high school and continued that spirit up to the end.

I have known Peggy through our sister churches and also through our birthday group.  She has always been a very sweet and caring person that would do anything that she could for you.  She had a beautiful smile and a big hug every time I saw her.  I will miss her laugh (and her cute snort).  When she hugged me she always said “hey darlin”.  She will definitely be missed and have a special spot in my heart.  My deepest sympathies to her family and friends!  🤗🙏❤️

We had a great time doing our little trips around town. During those trips Peggy got to be known to me as the U  Turn Queen. We weren’t sure sometimes if we were going the right direction. So, Peggy said we will do a U Turn. Sometimes we were wrong so here comes another U Turn. Laughing and snorting we had a blast.  Those memories will stay with me forever.
