Peggy's obituary

With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Peggy Ann Nollmeyer, devoted wife and loving mother, on January 9, 2022. She was 74 years old.

Born August 6, 1947, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Lawrence and Rosa Kuhn, she was the oldest of six girls. Peggy graduated from Buhl High School in 1966.

Peggy married Alan Tate in 1964. Together they had 5 children while living in Idaho. After she and Alan divorced, she moved with her two youngest children to Hillsboro, Oregon. It was there that she purchased her first home, while working for the State of Oregon, Department of Child Support, a job which she excelled at. She met her future husband, and love of her life, Scott Nollmeyer and married him in October 1999, and remained faithfully by his side until the day of her passing.

Peggy’s life was about making memories, she also loved to travel and walk through life with her husband Scott. She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1973, Peggy’s faith and love of Jehovah God never wavered. For many years, Peggy was a regular pioneer dedicating many hours a month to preaching and teaching the bible. Together they traveled to many, many places and made friends wherever she went. She was an active member of the Hockinson Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her interests included sewing, reading, and making the most beautiful quilts. She dedicated much of her time to her family and her congregation.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband Scott, her children: Alana L. Tate, Aaron M. Tate, Matthew L. (Erika) Tate, Justin D. Tate, Deidre A. (Chris) Green, Viola Yormia. Her Grandchildren: DeVear, Kady, Lacey, Zachary, Sam, Matt Jr., Josh, Wyatt, Dylan, Alex, Kenneth, Brianna, Damien, Nyah, Colby, Ollie, Dylan, Taye, Monika, Joel, Emmeline, and Great-grandchildren: Austin, Jaxon, Easton, Rowan, Amelia, Taverley, Sophie, & Ryland. Sisters: Wanda, Linda, Nancy, Denise, & Robin

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Evelyn, and her grandson Robbie.
