It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Pearl Fung Jee Nakamura.

She was 69 when she passed on August 14, 2023.

Her incredible generosity, kindness and sense of humour will be missed greatly by everyone she has crossed paths with.

She was a devoted mom, a proud Po Po, a loving auntie, a caring sister and a trusted friend. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie and son (in law) Sean, grandchildren Garion and Ellowyn (aka Wynnie/Wyn Wyn to her), siblings Allan (Anne), Ken (Angie) and Jim. Nieces and nephews- Jennifer, Kristen (Yung), Kevin (Jana), Colin (Sunny). Great nieces and nephews-Owen, Olivia, Taylor, Benny, David and Penny.

She will also be deeply missed by all of her colleagues she has worked with in the restaurant and real estate industries over the years and those chosen family who considered her their second mom, auntie and “Grandma Pearl”.

Our family truly appreciates all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time.

Please join us to celebrate her life Friday August 25 at Highland Hills Funeral Home-12492 Woodbine Ave. (10am visitation, 11am service)

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa -Dialysis Unit who have taken such good care of her for the last 6 years.
