So sad to hear of Auntie Paulines' passing. She was a wonderful woman and so kind to everyone. I know you will miss her loving and adventurous spirit.
I have so many fond memories of her.
Your long summer visits when we were children, were a huge exciting adventure to me. Pauline included me in so many of your trips ie your Grandma Nora, Burt & Pauline Vickerys' beautiful house in Surrey and London sightseeing to name just a few.
Do you remember the open top buses and days spent at the local outdoor swimming pool? And the day we took part in the carnival? We had such fun didn't we?
Happy memories of a lovely lady (and cousin) who made some of my childhood summers so special.
One of my childhood precious possessions was my 1st Barbie doll, that your mum and you gave me.
I was the only local girl to have one and was so proud of her.
And would you believe, I still have her and the Ken doll your mum subsequently sent me ? They must be at least 57 years old!
Much love to you and Allen, and I hope to maybe see you both if you do make the trip over here sometime xxx
Well, what can we say about Pauline, wow, she was a very formidable woman. She had a huge heart and was willing to share anything with you if she could. Many times during family get togethers we would often see her laughing and singing away. She loved to be with family. Pauline was definitely a bargain hunter and on one occasion, she managed to find me a Blazer jacket for $5 for a cruise we were about to go on. That was the talk of many get togethers and phone calls.
One thing we do know is that she was extremely proud of Debbie and Alan and often spoke of them in very high regard. We will miss her calls and our visits either over there or over here. Holidays have never been the same in miami since Pauline took me to the playboy club when i was around 14. We miss her deeply. Rest in peace Pauline and we just hope that you're having a wonderful knees up with everyone up in heaven.

Beautiful tribute to your mother, Deb, and what lovely photos of her. I enjoyed knowing more about her life. She was kind and sweet whenever we met, and her intelligence and strength quite evident. I think the most important thing she ever did was to have you as a daughter. I'm sure it was a lot of work to parent in the 1950s and 60s, and what a gem of a person we were blessed with in you. She was lucky to have your support in her later years especially. With my love, always your dear friend, Elena
Pauline was a long-term fan of the television program Jeopardy. An especially fond memory is when her grandson Allan was selected at age 13 to compete on Teen Jeopardy. Pauline, daughter Deb, and grandson Allan flew together from Florida to Los Angeles for the show’s taping. While on the west coast, the three enjoyed a stay on HMS Queen Mary (now converted to a hotel) in Long Beach, California and reminiscing about Pauline’s adventurous history and experience traveling on the Queen Mary from England after WWII.
