I’m so sorry for your loss. I had no idea Polly was so sick. I grew up downstairs from her in Somerville and the picture you posted is exactly how I remember her. Please give the family my heartfelt sympathy Linda (Simpson) Ritchie
I lived just two houses from the Talbot family. I played with Polly, Aleta and Hazel. We children on Montrose Street all got along well and our street was our playground. I got to spend a week with Polly’s family at their Nantastic Beach house when I was about ten years old. I now live in Alaska. A few years ago when I visited family back East, I stopped by to visit with Polly. It was only about a half hour visit, but in that short time I learned how precious her children and grandchildren were to her. I am very sorry for her family’s loss. I only have wonderful memories of growing up with Polly’s family. I will miss our short comments on Facebook.
