My mother's long battle with kidney cancer is over and she can finally rest peacefully without severe pain and heavy medication, for that we can all be grateful. I'd like everyone to know that she was strong and fearless right up to the end, always concerned about others and not herself. As her only son, I'll carry on as she requested, taking care of my family, reading my Bible and greatly appreciating the many wonderful memories she left me. Good bye mom, I love you more than mere words could ever express. I take great comfort in knowing that one day we'll meet again, just as you said, in a much better place.

Pauline Conner Clark age 94 died at the Alleghany Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge, VA on Sunday November 10th 2019 after losing a long battle with kidney cancer. Pauline was predeceased in death by her mother Blanche Craft Dean and her father Charles Waitmer Conner, as well as her late husband Richard Gordon Clark.
