Paula's obituary
Paula was born in Konnevesi, Finland to Heikki and Siiri Harjula on September 5, 1930. She studied and worked in Jyväskylä, Finland. She moved to Germany in 1957 with her husband. She then moved to the United States. Paula dearly loved her Finnish traditions, reading, poetry, classical music, theater, and gardening.
Paula is preceded in death by her father Heikki Harjula, mother Siiri Harjula, and grandson Lance Crayne.
Paula is survived by daughters Anna Filippetti, Lisa Starling, and Teresa Weber, grandchildren Amanda Starling, Brett Crayne, Steven Starling, and Cierra McGraw, great-grandchildren Cheyenne Starling, Gabriel Starling, Dakota Starling, Kinley Crayne, and Adelaide McGraw, brother Esko Harjula, niece Riitta Suominen, and many extended family members both in the United States and Finland.
