Typically, cousins can be your very first playmates, and that is how Paula and I came to know and love each other. We were first borns, just 3 months apart, our moms devoted sisters forever. I will always remember Paula as my smart cousin in so many ways: intelligent, clever and quick-witted. Gettysburg, PA was our biggest playground, surrounded by our grandparents, aunts and an uncle, along with much extended family. It was always an adventure to get together. I am sure she will lovingly watch over her family now, as she remains in our hearts.

I worked with Paula in the medical laboratory at the VA Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She was in microbiology, and I was in chemistry.  But we both worked in all areas of the lab when we were on call or working weekends.

We also bowled on the VA team, and even went to the annual regional tournament in Pittsburgh twice.  Lots of good memories!

I was  deeply saddened to hear about Paula’s passing. She was truly the life of any gathering, and I have such fond memories of her lighting up our neighborhood block parties and get-togethers.

She was always so full of energy, but what stands out most to me is her dancing! Just thinking of her on the dance floor brings a smile to my face. I also truly cherished our time sharing stories about growing up as military 'brats'—having that shared background made our friendship feel special.

She brought so much light to our neighborhood and will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Paula and I spent a lot of time together. We lived together, got married close to one another and had our first babies a month apart.  I miss her.

We will miss Ms. Paula in the neighborhood. I was so touched by the hat and blanket she crocheted for Grant when he was a baby. Those are beautiful pictures. I'm glad I will be able to remember her by the beautiful daffodils in her yard that bloom each spring - and the many other flowers as well.
Paula was truly the life of the party, a beacon of light, and always the first person on the dance floor, at any and every family occasion, encouraging us to embrace the music. She was a beautiful soul and provided much love and support to me when my mom passed. I will always remember our conversations, the sparkle in her eye. Much love to Gerard, Paul and Patrick during this time of mourning.
Absolutely the light of the party! I loved dancing with Paula. A great co-worker and friend.  My heartfelt condolences to the family.
